[Edited Date of Game]

This is a Demo game only, i.e. one off, using the Beginner Box rules of Star Wars Edge of the Empire, and using the pre-generated characters made available in the Beginner Box.

You do NOT need to own SW EotE to play. It is a Learn as you Go adventure! We may not even finish the adventure as written, it's ok, let's just have some fun!

We will be using Roll20 (my 1st time), and my goal is to learn the software as much as to learn SW EotE mechanisms.

If you're interested, sign up by responding to this thread, and read the following documents:

Then, choose one of the characters below:
41-Vex, the Droid Colonist Low Res
Lowhhrick, the Wookie Hired Gun - Low Res
Pash, the Human Smuggler - High Res - Low Res
Oskara, the Twilek Bounty Hunter - Low Res
Sasha, The Human Explorer - Low Res
Mathus, The Human Technician - Low Res

Finally, don't forget to read the thread on how to install Roll20 & Google Hangouts. Make sure it everything works and with your audio headset by creating a Roll20 campaign and launching it in Google Hangouts.

Hello Ceodryn!

I would like to join your SW adventure as Lowhhrick, the Wookiee. I have the SW boxed set (but have not read the adventure, just the rules; I played Pash in a tabletop game about 4 weeks ago, made it though the 3rd encounter, and we haven't played since!).

I would love to learn how to use Roll20 as well, I'm just too afraid to start one of my own just yet...

Thanks, and see you in 2 weeks...

Bishop (Dave)

Hey Dave,

Thanks for joining! It's not a problem if you did the adventure before, of even if you were reading it. I am assuming most people know the adventure by now, and we will be learning together further the rules, and learning together how best to use Roll20.

Cheers
Philippe

I would be interested. I have EotE but haven't played it yet. I am a KS supporter for Roll20 ( by virtue of KS backing TTF ) but haven't used it for a game. I use FG2 as a GM for a weekly PF games that has been going on for 2 years now. I'll be on vacation up to 2 days before the session, so I'll reconfirm then. Doesn't matter which PC. There are 2 new PCs on FFG web site, an explorer and a technician ( thought you might want to know ).

I would like to see how roll20 works for games. I am making some rollable tables with scans of the dice. Works fine so far.

Hey Warren,

At this point of time, I am not yet subscribed to Roll20, as I want to test it first in real. So, that means my campaign is on the main server and we therefore may not be able to use the rollable tables feature. Instead, I plan to use Google Hangouts and the EotE dice rolling app which is very neat.

Other than that, I am in the same boat as yours, very experienced with FG2, and wondering how Roll20 will work.

Cheers
Philippe

That makes sense. My membership is a bit of a hybrid. I'm not subscribed but all of us TTF KS backers were given extra access and features just like the KS backers of Roll20 were given.

Bad news here,

I didn't realize the kids had a concert that night, I'm going to have to back out for now. If plans change, I'd still like to play, but doesn't look like I'm going to be able to at this time...

Sorry

Well, I wouldn't mind at all moving to to another day, especially was Warren may have a conflict too. Although, the next Friday I could do it would be the 19th?

Are Saturdays an option for you? I'm thinking Sat 4/06...?
